"Hermes"
Late in 2003, we got a phone call, and the voice on the other end says "we have a boy that would love to come live with you", well that started a wonderful friendship and co-ownership with Bonnie Blink and Danny Baisey of QuietWood in Waller Texas that lasts to this day.
Hermes, our big bundle of joy, fit right into the family as if he was born into it, and we have never looked back. Hermes was taken to his championship by his mama Bonnie in the Bred By class and then we took him onto his first Best of Breed. Since then he has gotten a few more BOB's as well as coming in Fourth in the Tournament of Mastiffs at the Mastiff Nationals in French Lick, Indiana in 2005, to list just a few.
Hermes has been health tested and passed with hips (#MF-2686G34M-PI) and elbows (#MF-EL3087M34-PI) through OFA, also Cerf on his eyes were Normal and his Cardiac tested normal through OFA as well.
Hermes loves to go out in public and be a
Canine Ambassador for the Mastiff breed. He has been in parades, parking lots, PetsMart and Petco, Meet the Breeds at the shows, made TV appearances and many other duties. But probably his favorite occupation is snoozing on the couch and eating whatever bread he can purloin off the kitchen counter.
Hermes has his CGC, TDI and is currently working on his Drafting/Carting title as well his Rally title.
He has puppies on the ground well on their way to championships of their own and we are proud of their success.
