In 2002, we went searching for our first Mastiff, not really knowing what we were looking for, nor what we were supposed to be looking for.  Since then we have grown in knowledge and understanding of these wonderful dogs, gleaned from countless mentors who have taken the time out of their busy lifes to assist us in this endeavor.  We would not be where we are today without them.

We believe that although great Mastiffs have come and gone, better ones are on the way and some are already here. As with alot of Mastiff breeders, we strive to breed to the betterment of the breed.  With that in mind, our puppies go only to approved homes with a signed contract, whether it be a show contract or a pet contract.  All of our dogs are health tested for hips and elbows through OFA, CERF with eye exams, and Cardiac also through OFA and PRA DNA tested. We have learned from hard, painful experience that the above testing is a must in order to give the Mastiffs a rich and joyful life.  Our canine companions have been proven in the show ring countless times as well as in obedience and carting/drafting.

We live on Toledo Bend Lake, which sits on the borders of Texas and Louisiana and all of our dogs get loads of sunshine and exercise as we think that an active dog that gets a good share of sunny outside time is a healthy dog.  Our dogs are complete members of the family.  They love to lay on the couches and watch TV or snuggle up on the floor with a human member of the household.  Some share beds with fellow family members. Actually they want the whole bed but whose telling on them.

We are members of the Mastiff Club Of America, Spinone Club Of America, East Texas Working Dog Assc., Lone Star Mastiff Fanciers and encourage anyone owning a Mastiff or Spinone to join as well.
